Doctorio is one of the best-known german World of Warcraft streamers on Twitch. We asked him some questions about streaming and Sound Alerts and here are his answers.
Who are you? Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
My name is Doctorio. I started streaming World of Warcraft in 2019. The streaming content evolved to be newcomer friendly and is educational with tons of guides and our community became a great hub for beginners.
Why did you start streaming? How did it all start?
Funny story. I started streaming only because I wanted to save my in-game footage for my own reviewing. When I asked my friends what program would be the best for recording they suggested Twitch.
What is your favorite thing about streaming? What do you like the most?
The absolute best thing about streaming is that you can learn a lot from the chat. Every viewer is unique and has his/her own story and experience whether in the game or on other topics. As a streamer, you can collect this know-how and forward it to others. Win-Win!
For how long are you using Sound Alerts now?
I started using Sound Alerts in early 2020!
Did Sound Alerts help you to increase your income on Twitch?
Yes! Sound Alerts increased the revenue from Bits by a lot!
What is your favorite sound on Sound Alerts?
The wet fart sound. The viewers seem to know when it is the best moment to press this fart button. I crack up every time.
What are the most played sounds on your stream?
To no surprise, it would be the fart sound.
Which advice would you give new streamers/people who want to start streaming?
Think ahead a long time.
