5 October Changelog - Widgets, Coins & more!

As we are approaching the last months of the year, it is time for another report on the newest additions to Sound Alerts in our September Changelog. Explore various exciting features for your stream in your Scene Editor, your stream alert management, and various other parts of the Sound Alerts Dashboard.

Sound Alerts Coins

We designed Coins with streamers and viewers in mind to offer the best possible live interaction experience. Coins can be used on all participating Tipping Pages and Twitch Extensions across different channels and offer a secure payment and payout setup for viewers and streamers. Custom Widget & StreamElements Import

Add our new custom widget to create your own Scene Editor streaming widgets through a dedicated code editor. You can even import existing StreamElements widgets to use them within Sound Alerts.

To-Do List Widget

You can now activate the new To-Do List Widget in your scenes to track active challenges or tasks for your stream without leaving Sound Alerts! Get started here.

Fullscreen Effects

With Fullscreen Effects, you can add visuals that cover your entire screen to any alert type. Browse through your favorite memes, shiny animations, or the biggest Sub Gift celebration you have seen yet.

Crystal Ball Widget

Our newest addition to the Scene Editor lets your chat ask everything they are curious about, while the omniscient crystal ball will deliver answers in a dynamic Twitch overlay. Get started in the Scene Editor here.

Sticker Support

Besides GIFs, you can now also use sticker designs for your alert animations and scenes within the Dashboard.

Notes Widget

Using the Notes widget, you and your mods can display almost any type of information (text, images, emotes, lists, etc.) in a clean stream overlay. The perfect way to display some quick visuals or info in the stream. Get started here.

Other Updates

• We redesigned the Dashboard home page to include more discoverability features
• We launched the Buy 2 get 3 promotion in the Shop
• Our Streamdeck plugin can now toggle the visibility of individual Scene Editor widgets
• You can now customize the resolution of your scenes in the Scene Editor
• You can now import and export animations in the Animation Editor
• Colors in the Activity Feed can now be customized to highlight different alert types
• We added the !coins command and a periodic highlight of the Coins page in our Chatbot
• We added the #media variable for the animation text and chat notifications for random alert buttons to display the alert media name
• You can now download Coins panels for your channels in various languages
• The Alert Animation Editor supports text and box shadows along with gradient text colors now
• New Chatbot commands: !followage, !subage & !accountage
• New Chatbot variables: user.login, channel.login & targetuser.login
• A dynamic text box size can now be selected in the Animation Editor
• Certain widgets can now be tested through custom alert triggers that let you fine-tune the alert type you want to test during setup
• Commands in our Chatbot can now be pinned messages
• You can now add an icon to Coins, Bits, or Channel Points values in text elements of the Animation Editor
