About the Emote Combo Widget
An Emote Combo widget is a counter overlay that tracks your livestream chat messages and starts a stylish combo once a certain number of consecutive messages contain the same emote. You can fully customize it to match the activity level of your chat and set how long it appears each time. It works with all common streaming tools, such as OBS or Streamlabs Desktop, and is compatible with major emote libraries, including 7TV, FFZ, and BTTV.
Emote Combo Widget Setup
To activate the Emote Combo in your livestream, we recommend using our Sound Alerts Scene Editor, which allows you to set up different widgets in no time. Just follow these simple steps:
- Open the Sound Alerts Scene Editor and click on “Add new Scene” in the top right.
- Select “Add Widget +” in the top left, click on “Emote Combo”, and select “Add Widget +” in the bottom right.
- Use the settings on the left side to customize your widget. You can test it by typing emotes in your Twitch chat.
- Once you are happy with your configuration, click “Save” in the top right, select a name for your scene, and click on “Save” again.
- Now, click "Copy Source URL" in the top right. You can add this browser source URL to OBS, Streamlabs Desktop, or other tools by adding it to your source list as a "Browser" or "Web" source and pasting the link.
- Your Emote Combo overlay will now display on your stream as long as the browser source is visible. Congratulations!
